Bodies designed by Grumman Aircraft Eng Corp, for Merkel, Inc, meat processors; 12-ft bodies, mounted on International Model KB-5 chasses and 15-ft bodies on Model KB-8 Internationals, are insulated and refrigerated to maintain 35 F; two types of refrigeration used with Koldhold plates; on truck runs, Freon system, with Servel compressor, is employed; equipment provided with 110-220 v electric plug in motor to boost charges in plates when trucks are stored overnight.
