Great Northern Railway increased its operating efficiency by relocating 5930 ft of electrified main line track east of Seattle; new track eliminated four curves, reduced one from 6 to 4°, and another from 4 to 3°; relocation includes 546-ft steel viaduct and 675-ft single track tunnel.
