In course of legal proceedings subsequent to collision between Queen Mary and HMS Curacoa in 1942 evidence indicated that course of Curacoa closely prior to collision might have been affected by proximity of Queen Mary; to determine whether there had been interaction between ships, experiments were carried out in Ship Div, National Physical Laboratory on behalf of Cunard-White Star Ltd; results reported.
