Brill Co, Philadelphia, is similar to PCC or "Glideaway" cars; first unit placed in operation on Atlantic City and Shore Railroad Co; normal acceleration 4 to 5 mph per sec and deceleration of 7 to 8 mph per sec, with free running speed of 40 to 45 mph; heating and lighting; equipped with Model 97-E R-1 Brill trucks; diagram showing heating and ventilating system of new super-street car.
