Fleet of 22 streamlined Diesel electric buses put into operation on Grand Concourse, in Borough of Bronx, New York City, replacing fleet of gasoline buses; built by Twin Coach Co, Kent, Ohio; they are all of model 41 RC DE; engines have 6 cylinders developing 125 hp at 2200 rpm; electric drives supplied by both General Electric and Westinghouse.
