Seaplanes to be operated by Pan American Airways, now being built by Boeing Aircraft Co, will accommodate 50 passengers on transoceanic flights and 75 on shorter routes, in addition to crew of 10; wing spread 152 ft; hull 109 ft long; weight 41 tons; each plane will be driven by four 14-cyl, double row, Wright "Cyclone" engines with take-off rating of 1500 hp each.
