First of two 18-knot passenger vessels being constructed for Fred Olsen and Co's service between Oslo and Newcastle; length 385 ft 9 in.; breadth 53 ft; depth to main deck 30 ft 3 in.; propelled by two Akers-B. and W. 2-stroke, single-acting, 9-cyl engines with cylinders 500 mm in diam and stroke of 900 mm, developing 3500 ihp at 145 rpm.
