Road test conducted by Automotive Laboratory of Atlantic Refining Co on six cars, each of two different makes, to obtain driver's reactions to four lubricants; factors evaluated include squeaks heard by driver; greases tested included aluminum stearate grease, two lithium soap thickened greases and nonsoap type; results indicate that 1000 mi lubrication frequency is important.
