Hull of Bebe Grande is 54 ft long, weight 6000 lb, and was molded by Halmatic Ltd; material, "Deborine", consists basically of polyester resin reinforced with glass fiber; outside is impregnated with pearl grey coloring matter; skin thickness is 3/8 in. reinforced by 1 1/2 in. deep hollow "tophat" frames at 12-in. intervals; fitted with pair of 200-bhp Rolls-Royce diesel engines.
