Josefina Thorden built by Uddevallavarvet for Rederiaktiebolaget Comitia of Uddevalla, and on 15 yr charter to Cities Service Oil Co; length bp 630 ft, molded beam 84 ft, molded depth 46 ft 9 in.; there are ten center and five wing tanks on each side; dry cargo capacity is 46,923 cu ft; two casing cross compound De Laval impulse steam turbines deliver 18,000 shp at 103 rpm and 20,000 shp at 106 rpm; two Foster Wheeler boilers provide steam at 620 psi and 810 F.
