Repulse, built for William Cory and Son by Richard Dunston Ltd, has special form of stern designed to reduce wash on barges astern of tug and to reduce draft when running; length oa 80 ft; breadth molded 19 ft 6 in.; depth molded 10 ft 6 in.; propulsion is by Ruston and Hornsby pressure charged diesel rated 605 shp at 430 rpm.
