Stated purpose is to create accurate representation of elastic hydrofoil vehicle which can be used in hydroelastic design studies; equations of motion of free elastic vehicle are rederived to obtain most suitable form; in addition, by means of indicial pressure-response distributions, three-dimensional unsteady effects are included in representation of hydrodynamic forces; indicial distributions are derived from unsteady lifting-surface theory.
