Electronic system which will notify driver of fare overriding on one-man-operated buses is at present being set up for bench tests and when proven will be installed in one-man-operated forward-entrance Leyland PD2 double-deckers, operated by Brighton Corp Transport; basically there will be two counters in driver's cab showing number of fares valid and number of passengers on board; if every passenger pays fare and does not override stage to which he has paid, two counters will show same numbers; ticket machine provides information on fares paid and number of passengers on bus is recorded by tread switches in entrance and exit; how system would work.
