Characteristics of new programming system which uses magnetized code marks placed in rail heads to actuate control equipment on following machines; called Magne-Code Programming, system was developed by Railway Maintenance Corp; code marks were used to control operation of RMC Hydramatic16 Continuous Jacking Tamper equipped with electronic surfacing device; system could be used to control tie-renewal and spiking machines, track-straightening equipment and track liners.
