Design of optimal linear feedback system which regulates position and velocity of every vehicle in densely packed string of high-speed moving vehicles using theory of optimal control: general theoretical formulation and solution of optimization is detailed: analog computer simulation results are presented for case of string of three vehicles: applicable to rail traffic control.
