Solar heat flux simulator which programs and controls heat energy radiated to test vehicle in Mark I aerospace systems environmental chamber; flux distribution over vehicle in given position and variations of flux pattern due to vehicle orbital motion are achieved by providing 50 control areas, each furnished with separate power regulator and control system; inputs are digitally programmed and corrected by feedback signal from sensor located in flux field of each control area; heat flux control is closed loop.
