Major objective of space program in post-Apollo period is extension of program to include continued manned expeditions to Moon at rate of 1 or 2/yr, with augmented logistic support; outline of geophysical investigations which could be carried out; each mission would include ensemble of experiments, in many cases utilizing apparatus with specifications not yet achieved on Earth or in Apollo program; flexibility of design is required so that instruments can handle extremes in background noise and in lunar models.
