Basic problems of flight mechanics being met in solar-system exploration; effect of launch-vehicle capability on missions and potential of planetary swingby trajectories technique for reaching more distant regions of solar system; ultimately, synergistic effects of planetary swingby and efficient extended thrusting by unconventional spacecraft propulsion systems may eliminate last barriers to probing of entire solar system.
