Timber industry is expanding, and decreasing supply of labor accompanied by increasing demand for wood is forcing rapid mechanization; this situation is creating both opportunities and problems for equipment industry; some of challenges to industry involve problems in mobility, control, operator comfort, safety, and wood processing.
