Studies were made of system which consisted of gas turbine, alternator, cycloconverter, and induction motor; analog simulation is given of turbine alternator system used as vehicle drive; as in electrical vehicle drive system, miles per dollar ratio is critical consideration; influence of load scheduler on economy of turbine fuel consumption has been studied showing that by using load scheduler as proper sensor of vehicle's power requirement and controlling power output of turbine, considerable amount of fuel can be saved, especially when vehicle is at rest and turbine speed is governed at lower idling level than its rated operating speed.
