Bus was introduced in 1964 as smallest of Leyland Motor Corp's three single-deckers with underfloor engine mounted under rear overhang; power plant is 6.54 liter Leyland 0.400 6-cyl diesel engine; test results obtained in Bus and Coach Road Test No. 18 are summarized; layout of bus, specification data, driver's and passengers' viewpoint; relatively small 6.54-liter engine gives good fuel economy in nonstop running but little advantage in stopping service; pneumo-cyclic gear box helps in giving good performance.
