Air-cushion vehicle "Urba"; monorail vehicle is suspended from Dynavac inverted pneumatic chambers which create load-carrying air cushion by aspiration instead of usual compression; in prototype vehicle, with 1.5 to 2 ton load, 16 aspirators of 1.5 kw each were required; vehicle is propulsed by linear induction motor based on eddy currents; 100-seat vehicle in design stage will have maximum speed of 80 kw/hr; it requires 60 kw lifting power, 100 kw propulsion power on level, and 500 kw on 17% rising gradients.
