Extensive studies and surveys reveal that helicopter operation in East Pakistan is both feasible and practical due to particularly suitable low-lying, level terrain and meteorological conditions which do not offer any hazard to safe and regular scheduled services; operation is also economically feasible and offers quick and practical means of providing economical and widespread transportation system.
