Laboratory investigation is described; various tests were made on specimens immediately after they were prepared and after 10, 50 and 100 daily test cycles; comparisons of test results showed that repetitive daily applications of de-icing salts had no significant effects on specimen stabilities, or on penetration, softening point, or ductility of asphalt recovered from specimens.
