Impact of satellites on world affairs, and upon relations between United States and Europe and services which may be expected experimentally or on full operational basis, during next decade, such as orbital post office, orbital newspapers and intercontinental telephony; impact of direct broadcasting on undeveloped countries; need for worldwide common language; possible development of slow-scan facsimile-plus-sound receiver which operates on normal radio bandwidth, without requiring approximately thousand-fold greater spectrum space needed by TV is suggested.
