Characteristics of manned lunar flight between launch and rendezvous; some of problems and characteristics of possible flight modes are considered; flight modes can be divided into Direct Flight (DF), Earth Orbital Rendezvous (EOR), Lunar Orbit Rendezvous (LOR), and Lunar Surface Rendezvous (LSR); some advantageous features of each can be gained by hybrid combinations of these modes, such as EOR combined with LOR.
