In studying problems of docking and assembly in orbit, aerodynamic interference forces have potentially more than negligible effect; study made to determine aerodynamic forces acting among bodies traveling at 100 to 400 mi altitude; body separation distance and orientation, and molecular reflection speed are investigated; results indicate that interference forces, when bodies are very near each other, can be of same order as drag forces.
