Micro-rendezvous operation is defined as phase of orbital rendezvous which starts at relative range on order of 50-100,000 ft and terminates in docking operation; display of navigation data in forms of control criteria, which involve specification of thrust and vehicle attitude requirements, is introduced; control criteria requiring minimum of predisplay computation and resulting in simple cockpit displays are developed for orthogonal thrust vectors system, single vectored thrust system, and on-off system.
