Plan for Mid-Continent International Airport delineates system for handling traffic from major loop of entrance road system and feeding into loops serving four unit "gate arrival" terminals; service road system feeds out of cargo, air mail and flight food kitchens and progresses to aircraft aprons without crossing active taxiway or apron, and is protected by grade separations from any interference with other traffic; this service road also carries delivery and service vehicles which enter and pass through lower level of terminal buildings.
