Analysis and trends of main parameters (such as takeoff and landing mass, wing specific loading, thrust-toweight ratio and takeoff and landing performance) variation of transport category airplane modifications is given. It is established, that main distinguisher of modification is its too much flight productivity in terms of “payloadrange”, which just leads to variation of the main parameters mentioned above. It is obvious, that takeoff mass increases by 10...20…20 % of fuselage length up to 20 %, required airfield length up to 20…30 % It is stressed, that problem to keep takeoff and landing performance of modification with increased mass and wing specific loading is still actual scientific and practical task.
