A method of the comparative estimation of mechanical damages of different materials and construction elements with the elaborated device is suggested. The principle of the device’s work is a transfer of the information about the profile of the threedimensionally deformated surface, that is scanned with a feeler and represented digitally with an optical reading system, to a computer with its following recalculation and analysis in a special program soft.
