The article is devoted to the issue of the negative effectof delays in the movement of special rescue vehicles on the effectiveness of their mission. The dependence of the area of fire on the delay of the arrival of firefightersusing a fire-rescue vehicleis shown. The cascading graph of route options of specialvehiclemovementto the place of an emergencycall isgiven. The algorithm of the optimal routechoice ofthespecial vehiclemotionwith given projected delays is offered. Based onthegraph theory, probability theory,and the basic principles of traffic organization, the article proposes a new way to determine the optimal route.
