Radar guided air-to-air missiles are threaten by modern stealth aircraft, and infrared imaging guidance technology has the inborn anti-stealth ability. The research and development status of infrared imaging guidance technology for air-to-air missiles at home and abroad are introduced in this paper, the application prospect of infrared imaging seeker technology in future anti-stealth beyond-visual-range(BVR)air-to-air missiles is analyzed, and a technical scheme of anti-stealth infrared imaging seeker is proposed. The seeker adopts medium / long wave two-color imaging detection technology, which can meet the requirements of detecting stealth targets and resisting infrared decoy interference under the condition of interception after launch. The analysis and research show that the infrared two-color imaging seeker technology is of great significance to improve the anti-stealth performance of domestic BVR air-to-air missiles.
