Analysis of the results of the theory of fuzzy logic and the genetic algorithms to determine the correspondence of passenger traffic in cities is presented. The advantageous aspects of using the “soft” methods of estimation are revealed. It was established that they require further study and im-provement to be further use in the practice of passenger movement.
