Describes a general approach to the analysis of the situation of arbitrary type based on formal concepts and definitions, while the environment itself is interpreted as a point in a vector space with Euclidean metric. The process of analyzing the environment is represented as a set of consistently solved problems of environmental assessment, evaluation of trends in the development of the situation and elaboration of recommendations for changing the parameters of the situation. Provides General approaches to solving each of the tasks listed. Introduces the three States of the situation — normal, dangerous and disastrous showing signs of their differences.
