Many remote methods of multi-channel data processing require calculation of extremely great number of signal propagation rays. A description is given of highly efficient approximate routing methods for gradient and plane-layered high-speed medium models, as well as models with complex geometry of interfaces. The results of experimental research with the use of the aforesaid raytracing methods and emission tomography for seismic and magnetosonic waves are presented.
