The motivation - vehicle crash and infringement history Since 2008 UnitingCare Queensland (UCQ) has been providing a coordinated driver education program in road safety. The catalyst for embarking on this program, which was about influencing driver behaviours, was the increasing number of at fault crashes and traffic violations. In fairness to our drivers the environment they operate in and the increased exposure of traffic monitoring equipment are key factors in the increased risks. UCQ has a long history as a leading provider of community, residential care and health services across Queensland through its service groups Blue Care, Uniting Care Community / Lifeline and Uniting Care Health. The delivery of these services is supported by a fleet of over 2,400 vehicles that travel in excess of 45 million kilometres each year.
