In today’s world, robotics play a major role. The aim of our design is to fabricate a robotic arm which mimics the actions that the human arm performs. Out of India’s total population 1.8% are arm amputees. Since the bionic arms, and its maintenance is really costly, it leads to the popularity of 3-D printed arms. Our design consist of hardware and software part for robotic arm that is to be positioned, at the armless part of the amputee. We use different position for fingers to control the robotic hand using the movement of flex sensor. Depending on the bending of the fingers, the resistance value associated with the flex sensor varies which in turn controls the rotation of the servo motor’s shaft. The motor controls the robotic arm as per the resistance values obtained from the flex sensor. The system is operated wirelessly (transceiver), which eliminates the danger of wires running around the body.
