The data publication contains seven datasets with road users’ positions extracted from video recordings in five different shared space schemes in Germany. Two of these schemes were recorded twice, with and without the presence of a local farmers’ market. Positions of different road users, namely pedestrians, cyclists, and motor vehicles, are included. Therefore, movement trajectories with corresponding speeds and accelerations can be derived. The original study is part of a doctoral dissertation about road users’ behaviour, regarding speed and desired paths, in different shared space schemes.
