There is large logistics amount in the waterpower project site during the big hydropower projects construction. The roads arrangement, traffic planning and resources optimization during construction are important problem concerned with the implementation and cost of the project. Roads layout design and logistics planning of project construction site are mainly studied. With the help of planning break down technology of MRP ideas, the transportation plans are built up. Then the transport planning optimization model is built up mainly for macroscopical optimization. Aimed at microcosmic optimization, such as the selection, comparison and optimization of roads, the transport process dynamic optimization model is built up by computer dynamic simulation technology. And then the roads layout and transportation optimization model are built up by coupling the above two models. An instance shows that the roads and transportation optimization model equipped with the MPR ideology, computer simulation and visualization technology handles the optimization of construction layout in hydropower project well.
