Public bicycles can effectively solve the “last mile problem” of urban traffic and improve its overall service level. However, current urban public bicycle systems have problems of “no bicycle” and “no parking.” To solve these problems, we analyzed the temporal and spatial characteristics of rental demands for the sites and the traffic zones, respectively, through demand and desire lines drawings. Then, based on temporal and spatial characteristics, public bicycle demands can be predicted through borrowed and returned rates, and a dynamic scheduling model is proposed based on the prediction data. Finally, taking one traffic zone as an example, a specific scheduling scheme is given.
