According to the characteristics and requirements of high-speed maglev transportation, several auxiliary stopping areas and stopping points are set up along the track. In normal operation, the operation control system controls the maglev train to run continuously and stop at stations through stopping point stepping. In the event of an emergency or serious system equipment failure, in which case the system cannot continue operation, the operation control system will implement a forced stop to control the maglev train to safely stop at the current stopping point. Based on the study of the principle and mechanism of the auxiliary stopping area and stopping point stepping control, this paper focuses on the analysis of the forced stop operation scene for high-speed maglev transportation, and studies the trigger conditions and causes of the forced stop, the disposal process, and the stopping methods.
