Based on the basic technology of GIS-T, combined with our expressway management information and the status quo of expressway accident, Super Map, SQL and VB combination of GIS technology are applied in expressway emergency rescue system. Setting from the GIS-T application development, the paper focuses on applying the information and intelligent technology into the field of expressway emergency rescue, and constructing the well-designed expressway emergency rescue system and its framework, so as to reduce casualties, direct and indirect economic losses, meanwhile, to improve the level of expressway service, all of which can provide primary experience for the expressway intelligent development, and initially meet the need of reality to the expressway emergency rescue system.
