Motor train set scheduling is one of the primary scheduling of passenger special line. According to the motor train set applying rules and maintain scheme, a motor train set scheduling model based on TSP was established. Then a heuristic simulated annealing algorithm was designed. Generated the new solution by using the 2-spot exchange technique base on probability, constructing train groups, narrowed the neighbor search range, and improved the search efficiency. Put forward the method that adding variable to memory the optimal solution so far during the annealing process, which will be benefit for the future optimization and decision. Finally the experiment showed that the solution was effective.
