A research was performed for crack pathology of prestressed concrete box girder bridge (PCBGB). Cracking information of PCBGB in national scope was collected and investigated. Main crack types, distributing pattern and shape feature were proposed. Statistical analysis was also performed to get multi-angle quantitative crack features by large samples. Analytical results indicate that (1) inclined crack in webs and longitudinal crack in box girder are main crack styles of PCBGB; (2) many cracks appearing on PCBGB is a common phenomenon and the causes of cracking are also complex.
