In this paper, the traveler behaviors are analyzed. A route choice model with travel information based on fuzzy logic is developed to model travelers' recognition of traffic condition, route attractiveness, driver reaction to travel information and travelers' characteristic influence on route choice. Traffic conditions on two routes in Nanjing city are assumed as an example for study. The fuzzy logic control rules are induced from the survey conducted on the two routes by interviewing taxi drivers. The results obtained from the model show good agreement with the survey results.
