Space is the final frontier. It has been forty years since mankind ventured into this frontier but since the moon landings the advancement towards space settlement seems to have halted. One of the main reasons has been the phenomenal costs associated with space travel. A viable solution has been proposed in this paper in the form of creating a global entity for the exploration and settlement of space. It is discussed that with one global organization coordinating the efforts of space exploration and settlement the barrier of costs would be overcome. The importance and significance of a global organization is highlighted along with the goals which the organization would follow. The paper also discusses the commercial aspects which such an organization might be able to venture into.
