Posted speed limit (PSL) on most of the Interstate highway system in Wisconsin was increased from 65 to 70 mph during the week of June 16, 2015. This paper aimed at evaluating the impact of the change in speed on Wisconsin’s Interstate system after the maximum PSL increased. The primary data source was the national performance management research data set (NPMRDS). One-week time periods every month from March 2014 to May 2015 were collected for the before period. One-week time periods in every month from July 2015 to June 2016 were collected for the before period.
