Exploring travel choice of low-frequency public transport commuters (LPTC) improves the quality of PT service. This study collects travel questionnaire data and the association matching method is used to integrate the data. PT transaction big data is identified, combined with spatiotemporal thresholds, and their characteristics are analyzed. Three kinds of influencing factors of PT travel choice, namely individual, family, and travel attributes are selected, and an equation model is used to construct the travel choice model. Results show that individual, family, and travel attributes have significant direct effects on the travel choice, and there is a negative correlation between travel attributes and travel choice behavior. Travel distance and monthly income have the greatest influence, while gender and age have the lowest influence. Gender, whether to pick up children, travel time consumption, travel distance, and transfer times have a negative effect on the travel choice, while the other variables are positive.
