This study aimed to find the operation rules of the passenger car on the exit ramp of the trumpet-shaped interchange. The speed of the passenger car in the free flow state of the 35 exit ramps’ feature points was selected as the analysis sample. The parameters of the independent variables were determined and regression analysis was carried out. The prediction model of the operating speed of the passenger car at the diversion nose and the three types of exit ramps was established respectively. The results show that the operating speed of the passenger car is positively correlated with the design speed of the main line, but negatively correlated with the longitudinal gradient of the starting point of deceleration lane transition and the curvature change rate at the diversion nose. The average value of the relative error is less than 5%, so the accuracy of the model basically meets the requirements.
